Blue Lagoon, Iceland
Wayyy overdued photos are finally here. Last easter, Shao fen (my travel partner), Yue Han and I went to ICELAND for 2 weeks. Was amazing! Sights are beyond breathtaking! Any, literally any how you take the picture, it will look amazing. Ate a lot. Iceland is expensive. Like London. So beware. The only benefit is the portions are wayyy bigger. Enjoy these photos, for they are only photos of a day in iceland... more days to come. Pray that I will have the determination to post it all. More photos of iceland can be found on my instagram.
For the record, the all famous blue lagoon is actually manmade, and not a natural hotspring. It started off as a pipe burst, which carried hot water for the locals, started flooding the area. So they decided to make it into a hotspring for tourists. Viola, aint that special innit. But, in the local hotsprings, I heard that there are bathroom police that ensures you're squeaky clean before entering the hotspring, so you might want to go to this one instead. The weather in iceland changes like the wind. We experienced snow, rain, sun and hail during the four hours we were in the hot spring. Lucky? Yes i think so. Brought my GoPro along too for this, but I haven't checked out the images there.. I might post it in the next post when I get it.
